Long Du- Short Du - and 5k Run

LONG COURSE DUATHLON  – 5k run – 33k bike – 5k run

This is a standard short course duathlon that is sanctioned by USA Triathlon. The 5k run starts and finishes at the Sartell Middle School.  The 33k bike starts at the Middle School, heads out through the rolling hills of St. Stephen, MN, and then heads back along along the flat and fast Mississippi River Road where you will finish with another exhilarating 5k.

Run

The run is a 5k route that starts and finishes at the Sartell Middle School.

Bike

The race is a 33k route that starts and finishes at the Sartell Middle School.

All cyclists must observe MN traffic laws. CPSC approved hard shelled helmets are required. 
Drafting is prohibited

SHORT COURSE DUATHLON  – 5k run – 33k bike – 5k run

The sprint race or short course consists of a 5K run followed by a 15.5K Bike, followed by a quick dash to the finish line. The bike is about half as long as the full course and does not include the 2nd run. This is a great opportunity to give multi-sport racing a try or to be a part of the Apple Duathlon. The sprint race is open to adults as well as kids ages 10 and up. To promote the growth of the sport and encourage youth participation, youth registration fees are only 50% of an adult entry!

Run

The run is a 5k route that starts and finishes at the Sartell Middle School.

Bike

The bike is a 15.5K route that starts and finishes at the Sartell Middle School.

APPLE 5K FAMILY FUN RUN!

The Apple 5k Family Fun Run gives the whole community a chance to come out and enjoy the festivities while raising funds for a great local cause. This run is open to kids and adults of all ages and a portion of every 5k entry goes to help support the Sartell All Sports Booster Club and the great kids in our after school sports as they strive to be the best in Central MN.  This Non timed event will follow the very same 5k course as the rest of the event which will start and finish at the Sartell Middle School.
